Problem: find the sum of 7x-8, 4-3y and x-y
find the sum of 7x-8, 4-3y and x-y

(7x - 8) + (4 - 3y) + (x - y)
7x + x - 3y - y - 8 + 4
8x - 4y - 4

Simplified by dividing by 4

2x - y - 1
