Slope=(difference in y values)÷(difference in x values)=11/2, so y=11x/2+b where b is found by plugging in one of the points. Let's pick (39,0): 0=11*39/2+b. So b=-429/2, so y=11x/2-429/2 or y=(1/2)(11x-429).

CHECK: Plug in the other point to see if the equation balances: (1/2)(11*37-429)=(1/2)(407-429)=1/2(-22)=-11.
