I think you meant to ask to solve for the amount of time the wheel rotated.  You already know the how many times it rotated and the rate at which is is rotating so you need to solve for time

you can write the problem like this

287 revolutions         1 minute

---------------------  x    ------------------- = Time

             1                   25 1/5 revolutions

 

the revolutions units cancel

287/ 25 1/5 = time

if you convert 25 1/5 to a decimal then you can divide easily

287/25.20=11.388 minutes
