b^(x * (x-9) ) / b^(-9x)

b^(x^2 - 9x) / b^(-9x)

b^(x^2 - 9x) * b^9x

b^(x^2 - 9x + 9x)

b^(x^2)

 

note:  b^(x^2) is not the same thing as (b^x)^2 (which would become b^2x)
