what is 32mi/gal= __km/L
I need help with this

1 mi = 1.6 km
1 gal = 3.785 L

32 mi/gal * 1.6 km/mi = 51.2 km/gal
51.2 km/gal * 1 gal/3.785L = 13.53 km/L

32 mi/gal = 13.53 km/L

1 mile=1.609344 km and 1 gallon is 4.5461 litres (UK).

32 mpg=32*1.609344 km/g = 51.5 km/g = 51.5km/ 4.5461 L. Since a litre is smaller than a gallon, we need to reduce the distance because we can't go as far on a litre of fuel as we can on a gallon. So 51.5/4.5461=11.33 km/L.

For US gallons the figure is different: 1 gallon=3.785L, so it's 51.5/3.785=13.61km/L.
