7a + 6b = 5/10(10a + 11b)

Multiply both sides by 10
10(7a + 6b) = 5(10a + 11b)
Perform the operations
70a + 60b = 50a + 55b
Subtract 50a from both sides; subtract 60b from both sides
20a = -5b
Divide both sides by 20
a = (-5/20)b
a = -1/4 b
