-2*abs(2x+6)+3=-2

-2*abs(2x+6)=-5

abs(2x+6)=+(5/2)...2.5

1....2x+6=2.5...2x=2.5-6 or -3.5...x=-3.5/2=-1.75

2...-(2x+6)=2.5...2x+6=-2.5...2x=-2.5-6 or -8.5...z=-4.25.

|2x+6|=-5/-2=5/2, so 2x+6=+5/2; x=(-6+5/2)/2=(-12+5)/4=-7/4 or -17/4.

Check: x=-7/4: 2x+6=5/2, |2x+6|=5/2, -5+3=-2 OK; x=-17/4: 2x+6=-5/2, |2x+6|=5/2, -5+3=-2 OK.
