To get -37 the contents of the brackets must come to 19 because 20-3*19=20-57=-37. I therefore interpret the contents as 4+(6/2)*5=4+3*5=4+15=19. What do you think? (6/2)*5 may be the meaning of 6/2(5) where the 6 is first divided by 2 then multiplied by 5.
