Most of the quadratic eqation have 1 or 2 solution

Most solveable quadratics have 2 distinct roots.

x² + 5x + 4 = 0

(x + 4)(x + 1) = 0

Roots are -4 and -1

There is only one solution if the quadratic has a double root of the same value.

x² + 6x + 9 = 0

(x + 3)(x + 3) = 0

x = -3 is the one root.
