4+4(x-3)=-3(2x+10) what is x?

4 + 4(x -3) = -3(2x + 10)
4 + 4x -12 = -6x - 30
4x + 6x = -30 - 4 + 12
10x = -22
x = -2.2

Verify:

4 + 4(-2.2 -3) = -3(2*-2.2 + 10)
4 + 4(-5.2) = -3(-4.4 + 10)
4 + -20.8 = -3(5.6)
-16.8 = -16.8
