When the word "and" is used to connect two probabilities it means we multiply the probabilities together. So the probability for James to win on both days is 1/8*1/10=1/80.

P(Two wins today and tomorrow) = P(win today)*P(win tomorrow) = (1/8)(1/10) = (1/80)
