1/5 of a mile in 1 minute is 1 mile in 5 minutes. 9 miles will take 9*5=45 minutes. 2/3 of a mile will take 2/3 of 5 minute=2/3*5=10/3=3 1/3 minutes or 3min 20 secs. So 9 2/3 miles will take 45+3mins=48mins 20secs.
