The size of group A is 160 and the size of group B is 144. The total size of A and B is 304. Out of these two groups a total of 224 are in favour and 80 against.

Therefore the percentage of those in favour is 224/304*100=14/19*100=73.68% and those against 26.32%, so there is a 26.32% probability that a student picked at random (from either group) will be against the proposal.
