I need help with this proplem and totaly forgot to take notes

Gather the z's on one side of the equals and the numbers on the other side: add 22 to each side: 8z=9z+55-z. Combine the z's on the right side: 8z=8z+55. If we subtract 8z from each side and we end up with 0=55, which is never true, so the equation is false and cannot be solved for any value of z.
