I assume there's an unneeded bracket after 2.7, so it should be 3(2.7x+5)-2(4x-1.6). Applying the distributive property: 8.1x+15-8x+3.2=18.2+0.1x.

Given 3((2.7)x+5) - 2(4x-1.6)
8.1x+15-8x+3.2
0.1x+18.2
x=-182
