You want to make subtraction easier so let's regroup 940 into 929+1+10, because it makes it easier to take away 729. We can also regroup 729 into 700+29. When we subtract we lose the 29 from 929 leaving 900+1+10. Subtracting 700 from 900 we have 200+10+1=211, the answer!
