Expand the bracket: -12x+24.6<-11.98x+14.75 (14 3/4 is the same as 14.75).

Add 12x to each side: 24.6<0.02x+14.75.

Subtract 14.75 from each side: 9.85<0.02x.

Multiply through by 50 (or divide through by 0.02): 492.5<x, so x>492.5 (answer d).
