There are 1,000 grams in a kilogram. To do the subtraction, you need to borrow a kg from 25kg 73g making it 24kg+1073g. Now we can do the subtraction because we have enough grams. 1073-93 g = 980g. So the answer is (24kg-23kg)+980g= 1kg 980g.
