Collect variables together and separate from constants. Subtract 4r from both sides: -5<r+7. Subtract 7 from both sides: -12<r, so r>-12. To graph this you only need a line representing all values of r and an origin at r=0. Mark the point where r=-12 to the left of the origin. The inequality is represented by all the points to the right of -12, excluding the point itself.
