-5(x+s)=-1  in this question x+2 is the power of -5 and i need the value of x

(-5)^x+s=-1,

(-1)^x+s5^x+s=-1.

If x+s is even there is no solution because (-1)^x+s>0 and 5^x+s>0 always.

If x+s is odd then (-1)^x+s=-1 and 5^x+s=1, (x+s)log(5)=0, so x=-s because log(5) cannot be zero.

But if x=-s then (-5)^x+s=(-5)⁰=1 and (-1)⁰=1 so there cannot be any solution (0 is an even number).

However if -(5^x+s)=-1 then multiplying each side by -1:

5^x+s=1 and x=-s.
