I have to admit that I don't know what "t-table and the patter rule" means, but solving this problem
is simple enough.

2.5 m / 12.5 cm = 20

There are 20 "steps" of 12.5 cm from empty to the final depth. Each "step" takes 30 minutes, or 1/2 hr.

20 * 1/2 hr = 10 hrs

The water will reach the final level 10 hrs after the process begins.

11:15 + 10 = 21:15

21:15 is 9:15 pm
