Use the graphing function and find where it crosses the x axis

You put it where "Y1=" and then what do i do from there?
put it where Y1 = as written,

then hit the graph button (top right if using a TI)

if you are asked for an approximate then you can just use your arrow buttons to move the cursor to the x intercepts and it will tell you what the x value is.

If you are asked for more exact then it is a bit more complicated.
