Given 5-(t+3)=-1-2(t-3)    Remove the brackets in both sides.

5-t-3=-1-2t+6    Combine like terms in both sides separately.

2-t=5-2t    Add 2t to both sides.

2+t=5    Subtact 2 from both sides.   We have:

t=3

CK: Plug t=3 into the given equation: 5-(3+3)=-1-2(3-3), so LHS=RHS=-1   CKD.

The answer is: t=3
