i need help with this problem.

You haven't said what you want, but it appears that you
are looking for the equation of a line that passes through the
specified point and has the given slope. Because you
have the slope, all we need is the y-intercept.

y = mx + b
y - mx = b

b = 5 - 2(1)
b = 5 - 2
b = 3

Therefore, the equation is y = -2x + 3
