i have a right triangle which is divided by a line segment AD from the midpoint of line segment BC up to point A. the adjacent side(line segment AB) of the whole triangle is equal to 3cm., the opposite side(line segment AC) is 5cm. prove that line segment AD is equal to half of line segment BC. :)
