how to calculate how many yards of dirt I need.

I have an area about 50x30 by 6" deep. How do I calculate the amount of dirt I need in yards to fill this?? What is the formula?

1. box shape...volume=base area*hite

=30*50*(1/2)

=750 kubik ft

bi "yards", me assume yu meen kubik yards=27 kubik ft

750/27=27.77777777777777777777777... kubik yards
