Please help! blush

Looking for help to reduce a recipe that calls for 6 servings and I need to reduce recipe for 4 servings.  How do I go about this?

You have to propertion it out.

For example, if it calls for 6 servings of  ingredient A and 8 servings of ingredient B. to reduce it to 4 servings of ingredient A you have to propertion it:

6/8 = 8/x and then cross multiply this is just an example.
