20=(x)/(100)

Since x is on the right-hand side of the equation, switch the sides so it is on the left-hand side of the equation.
(x)/(100)=20

Multiply each term in the equation by 100.
(x)/(100)*100=20*100

Simplify the left-hand side of the equation by canceling the common terms.
x=20*100

Multiply 20 by 100 to get 2000.
x=2000
