a)state what effect f has on areas and whether f changes orientation?

 

i have found for a) that f will scale areas by -2 and will change orientation but if someone could confirm this i would appreciate as i have no idea

also b) find the matrix that represents the inverse of f

ci) use matrix from part b) to find the image f(l) of the unit circle l under f, in the form
ax^2 + bxy + cy^2 = d
where a,b,c and d are integers

cii) what is the area enclosed by f(l)?

matrix should read as M=(0,1)(2,-2) brackets on top of each other

M = 0 1
      2 -2
