How do I solve for x in x/100 = 130/164? you have to cross multiply top to bottom and vice versa

164x = 100 * 130

x = (100 * 130) / 164 = (50 * 130) / 82 = (50 * 65) / 41 = 3250 / 41 = 79 11/41
