what is the definition of unlike radials   I think you mean radicals.  the radical is the symbol that indicates a root.  you have seen square roots and cube roots ( 3) third roots.  a

unlike radials would be a square root and a cube root.

                       _                                                       3_

for example \/ 5  (square root) = 2.23606 is unlike \/ 5 (cubed root)  = 1.70997
