Wanting to purchase wood siding....its advertised. Per liner foot. One piece of lumber is 2" x 8" @.69 per liner foot...what is the cost per piece of lumber?

I take it that a linear foot is 69 cents? 8" is 8/12 of a foot, and 8/12=2/3. So the cost of the wood is 2/3 of 69 cents=2/3*69=2*23=46 cents.
