Doing percent of a quantity is hard for me, because i was never was taught percent of a quantity. Can you please help with a percent of a quantity? And teach me how to do a percent of a quantity?

divide the quantity by 100 and multiply by number of percent that you need to find

Example:

Find 12% of 30.

30:100=0.3

0.3 x 12= 3.6
