first, the numbers

2 goes into 6, so the lcm of 2 and 6 is 6

next the b's

there is no b in 6c^3, so the lcm for b^2 and 1 is b^2

next the c's

there is no c in 2b^2, so the lcm for 1 and c^3 is c^3

the lcm for the whole thing is 6(b^2)(c^3)
