My daughters Kindergarten teacher said to practice the addition facts to 5. Does this mean everything from 0+0 to 5+5 or would it be 0+0 to 5+0 stopping with each number when the sum is 5 ?

I think it means what numbers when added together make 5. I don't think 0 would be counted and I don't think the order matters, just the combination, with no repeats. So that would be 1+4, 2+3. Everything else would be repetition and inclusion of zero, like 1+1+1+1+1, 1+2+2, 0+0+0+5, etc.
