The Eclipse 3 can go higher than many other oxygen concentrators manual. It can still bring you a high oxygen purity and work like a champ until about 13,123 feet above sea level. You can go high altitude hiking with this concentrator, for the most part, with no problem. At heights like these, it’s a good idea to bring along a pulse oximeter to make sure you aren’t overexerting yourself and end up needing a higher setting of oxygen. You should never try to push an oxygen concentrator beyond it’s operational ranges, or you risk the machine malfunctioning, or you getting sick because you aren’t getting enough oxygen.
