4x+6y=7  We have to put it in slope intercept format

6y = -4x + 7 isolate y, subtract 4x from both sides

y = -4/6 x + 7/6 divide both sides by 6

y = -2/3 x + 7/6 reduce -4/6 by 2/2

M = -2/3, b = 7/6
