If x+xy+1=16 and x-y=1, then what is the value of x+y?

1....x-y=1, so y=x-1

2.....x+xy+1=16, so x+xy=15

x +x*(x-1)=15

x^2 +x-x=15

x^2=15

x=+-3.872983346
