(7xy-6y)^(2)

Squaring an expression is the same as multiplying the expression by itself 2 times.
(7xy-6y)(7xy-6y)

Multiply each term in the first group by each term in the second group First, multiply the first two terms in each binomial group.  Next, multiply the outer terms in each group, followed by the inner terms.  Finally, multiply the last two terms in each group.
(7xy*7xy+7xy*-6y-6y*7xy-6y*-6y)

Simplify by multiplying and combining all like terms.
(49x^(2)y^(2)-84xy^(2)+36y^(2))

Remove the parentheses around the expression 49x^(2)y^(2)-84xy^(2)+36y^(2).
49x^(2)y^(2)-84xy^(2)+36y^(2)

So the answer is the bottom one? Lol I'm no good in math
(7(-4)(-1)-6(-1))^(2)

Multiply -4 by -1 to get 4.
(7(4)-6(-1))^(2)

Multiply 7 by each term inside the parentheses.
(28-6(-1))^(2)

Multiply -6 by each term inside the parentheses.
(28+6)^(2)

Add 6 to 28 to get 34.
(34)^(2)

Expand the exponent (2) to the expression.
(34^(2))

Squaring a number is the same as multiplying the number by itself (34*34).  In this case, 34 squared is 1156.
(1156)

Remove the parentheses around the expression 1156.
1156
