Process A mean -0.0000688" Standard Dev is 0.0000386" next subsequent process B mean is -0.0000400 Standard Dev is 0.0000719, how much more variation (standard deviation increase) from process A to B?

Should I take the square root of the addition of the two variances or should I take the square root of the subtraction of the two variances?
