6*(3x+4)=18x+24............

Yes, 6 * 4 = 24 & 18 = 6 * 3!

Expand brackets by multiplying what's outside by what's inside: 24+18x which is the same as 18x+24, so they are equivalent. A+B=B+Ais an example of the commutative property of numbers.
