0.4(15 - 5x + 20 -10x)

rewrite and combine common terms

0.4 (15 + 20 -5x -10x)

0.4 (35 - 15x)   .4 is the same as 4/10 or 2/5 reduced

2(35 - 15x)  take a multiple of 5 out of the

--------------- parenthesis.

        5

2* 5(7 - 3x)

---------------

       5

2(7 - 3x)  = 14 - 6x
