.4(15 - 5x + 20 -10x)

.4 = 2/5  Convert to a fraction

2/5 (15 + 20 -5x -10x) rewrite with common terms together

2/5 (35 - 15x)

2/5 [5( 7 - 3x)]

2 (7 - 3x)     reduce by 5/5

14 - 6x
