(x+y)3=x3+3x2y+3xy2+y3=83=512.

x3+3x2y+3xy2+y3=x3+y3+3xy(x+y)=x3+y3+24xy, because x+y=8.

Therefore x3+y3​​​​​​​+24xy=512. However, it's not possible to calculate  x3+y3​​​​​​​+4xy.

⅙(x3+y3)+4xy=512/6=256/3.
