1.005^12x=2.52

log(1.005^12x)=log(2.52)

12x*log(1.005)=log(2.52)

12x=log(2.52)/log(1.005)

12x=0.40140054/ 0.002166061757

12x=185.3135252

x=185.313/12=15.44279377

Given 2.52=1.005^12x


take log on both side


=>log 2.52=12x log 1.005


=>0.92425=12 x(0.004987)


=>x=15.443
