What is the value of the discriminant -14x^2+7x+9=0

-14x^2 + 7x + 9 = 0

The general form of this equation is ax^2 + bx + c = 0
The discriminant is b^2 - 4ac

Taking the a, b and c from the given equation, we have
7^2 - 4(-14)(9)
