c + (4 - 3c) - 2 =0  (add 2 to both sides)

c + (4-3c) = 2 (subtract c from each side)

4-3c =2-c ( add 3c to both sides)

4 = 2 +2c (subtract 2 from both sides)

2 = 2c ( divide 2 on both sides)

c = 1  is your answer
