Tallness of a tree

QUESTION - A statue that is 12 ft tall has a shadow that is 15 ft long. Find the length of the shadow that an 8 ft tree has ? i know that you need to find out how much ft * in the shadow * their is in one ft of the statue .. to figure out how much ft * in the shadow * their is for a statue that is 8 ft

shadow=15 ft from 12 ft tall....15/12=1.25 . . . so sumthun els...shadow=1.25*hite . . . so 8 ft tall*1.25=10 ft shadoe
