How to solve x^2 - 6x + 9 = 20 using the Square Root Property

I've been home with the flu for the past week and coming back to school to this has kind of freaked me out. I have no idea how to do this. Someone please help.

x^2 - 6x + 9 = 20  factor the left side

(x - 3)^2 = 20  now take the square root of each side

x-3 = +or- sqrt(20)

x = sqrt(20) + 3 or x = -sqrt(20) - 3

x = 2sqrt(5) + 3 or x = -2sqrt(5) - 3
