slope = rise over run

Basically that means a fraction with change in y on top and the change in x on bottom.

The formula is:  slope = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1)

slope = (-16 - -12) / (-19 - -18)

slope = (-16 + 12) / (-19 + 18)

slope = (-4) / (-1)

slope = 4
